During the meal, KCM's close friends, the captains, arrived with cuttlefish and giant cutlassfish. KCM asked, "Don’t all the existing haenyeo have to agree?" The haenyeo honestly replied, "It has to be unanimous. You have to live in that village and undergo 86 hours of training. But if there are people who want to do it, we can’t stop even one person from coming."
