
Singer Jeong Mi-ae has opened a new corner called ‘Hometown Salon’ on ‘6 O'Clock My Hometown’.
On the broadcast of KBS1's current affairs and cultural program ‘6 O'Clock My Hometown’ aired on the 7th, Jeong Mi-ae actively participated as the salon manager of the new corner ‘Hometown Salon’, which seeks out beauty salons in various hometowns across the country.
Jeong Mi-ae expressed her determination, saying, “I will visit the beauty salon, which is the community's gathering place, help with hairdressing, and sing songs, fulfilling the role of a gathering place manager.”
Jeong Mi-ae attracted attention by visiting a beauty salon that has been operating for 45 years in Naju, Jeollanam-do. She not only helped with the work but also made comments to customers like, “Your hair will look beautiful,” playing the role of a mood maker.
Additionally, Jeong Mi-ae delighted the salon customers by gifting them a heartfelt song and even took care of their meals, providing a healing experience. She also showcased her unique storytelling skills by meeting various residents, including a customer who came before her grandson's wedding and a couple of mandarin ducks.
Having successfully operated ‘Hometown Salon’ on ‘6 O'Clock My Hometown’, Jeong Mi-ae stated, “I will do my best to foster love among neighbors. Please love ‘Hometown Salon’ a lot,” raising expectations for her next steps.
Meanwhile, Jeong Mi-ae is expected to continue appearing on ‘6 O'Clock My Hometown’ through ‘Hometown Salon’ in the future.
