In ‘Divorce Insurance’, Lee Dong-wook gave advice about divorce.
In the episode aired on the 7th, No Gi-jun (played by Lee Dong-wook) was seen advising his sister on her divorce.
On that day, No Jin-joo, Gi-jun's sister, said, “I’m thinking about getting a divorce. I’m not happy.” Gi-jun responded, “I thought something serious was happening. How many people in the world live happily?”
When Gi-jun said, “The brother-in-law I know is diligent and responsible. Isn’t that enough?” Jin-joo replied, “It’s the little things. The trivial things. The small things. It’s the insignificant things you can do because you love someone.” To this, Gi-jun said, “Those are things you do alone. You handle those yourself. You keep feeling unhappy because you expect even those things.”
When Jin-joo asked, “Then why get married?” Gi-jun replied, “Because we loved each other. If it was just ‘because we love each other,’ love alone would have been enough. Because we loved each other, we need something more to keep the two of us together.” In response to Jin-joo saying, “If that’s the case, I don’t want to live like this even more,” Gi-jun said, “There are many reasons for two people to be together besides love. In fact, many people get married without love. Try a little harder.”
