Actor Hwang Dong-joo has dismissed suspicions raised by comedian Kim Gu-ra regarding a romantic connection for the show.
On the 9th, MBC’s ‘Radio Star’ featured guests Woo Hee-jin, Hwang Dong-joo, Mimi, and Lee Si-an.
On this day, Kim Gu-ra asked Hwang Dong-joo, who confessed his feelings for Lee Young-ja nine years ago on ‘Radio Star’, “I view this with suspicion. Have you been nurturing your feelings for Lee Young-ja all this time?” Hwang Dong-joo replied, “I can’t nurture them alone. I kept watching the shows that (Lee Young-ja) appeared in. I watched because it was fun and also because she was on it.”
Woo Hee-jin, who appeared with Hwang Dong-joo on ‘Seeking Long-Standing Relationships’ said, “I was curious too. During filming, I told Lee Young-ja, ‘(Hwang Dong-joo) seems sincere. Do well,’ but Lee Young-ja didn’t clearly say ‘yes’ or ‘no’.” To this, Hwang Dong-joo responded, “I’m curious too,” creating a romantic atmosphere.
