Kim Hye-ja and Son Seok-koo depict a true romance that meets at the end of death.

On the 10th, the production team of JTBC's new weekend drama "More Beautiful than Heaven" (written by Lee Nam-kyu and Kim Soo-jin, directed by Kim Seok-yoon), which will premiere on the 19th at 10:40 PM, released stills capturing the chemistry between Lee Hae-sook (played by Kim Hye-ja) and Ko Nak-jun (played by Son Seok-koo) in the 'other world'.

"More Beautiful than Heaven" is a romance that transcends the present life, where Lee Hae-sook, who arrives in heaven at the age of 80, reunites with her husband Ko Nak-jun, who has returned to his 30s. Lee Hae-sook's dynamic entry into heaven, starting a second life at the end of life, offers warm emotions beyond delightful laughter. The reunion of trusted actors such as Kim Hye-ja, Son Seok-koo, Han Ji-min, Lee Jung-eun, Cheon Ho-jin, and Ryu Deok-hwan, along with the reunion of director Kim Seok-yoon and writers Lee Nam-kyu and Kim Soo-jin, who have previously collaborated on projects like "Hip" and "Dazzling," promises the birth of another life-changing work, heightening the anticipation of drama fans.

In the meantime, stills of the couple Lee Hae-sook and Ko Nak-jun, who begin a second marriage in heaven that is both strange and familiar, have been released, increasing expectations. The atmosphere between the two, who reunite in the heavenly house, seems unusual. Lee Hae-sook chose to appear as 80 years old, recalling her husband's words, "You are the most beautiful now," but Ko Nak-jun appears unexpectedly in his 30s. Exhausted from the long journey to heaven, Lee Hae-sook is left in despair with resentment and disappointment towards her husband, while Ko Nak-jun, who has long awaited the reunion with his wife, is simply joyful and excited, creating a contrast that evokes 'bittersweet' emotions.

As previously revealed in the highlight video, Lee Hae-sook and Ko Nak-jun reunite as a couple in heaven with a '0.5%' chance. Although the emotional reunion is 'instantaneously erased' due to conflicting choices from the entrance of heaven, their appearance walking arm in arm on the streets of heaven suggests their 'true' love that transcends life, death, and age. Lee Hae-sook, pure and full of curiosity like a child, and Ko Nak-jun, who transforms into Lee Hae-sook's exclusive guide in heaven, share a lovely moment as they look into each other's eyes and cheerfully shout 'fighting,' bringing smiles to viewers' faces. It raises curiosity about whether Lee Hae-sook can successfully adapt to heaven with Ko Nak-jun's support and how their reunion romance will unfold.

The meeting of Kim Hye-ja and Son Seok-koo is a highlight in itself. Kim Hye-ja showcases a bold transformation and limitless challenge as Lee Hae-sook, an 80-year-old wife who reunites with her husband returned to his 30s in heaven. Son Seok-koo takes on the role of Ko Nak-jun, Lee Hae-sook's loving husband and a postal delivery man in heaven who delivers wishes from the earthly realm, aiming to create a new life character.

Director Kim Seok-yoon stated, "I asked Ms. Kim Hye-ja to portray the wife’s perspective towards her husband in a way that is convincingly loving, given the couple's setting in this work. I continuously exchanged opinions with actor Son Seok-koo to ensure he did not confuse his care for the character's loving wife with the respect for his senior in reality." He also expressed confidence, saying, "There was some awkwardness during the first rehearsal, but from the actual filming, the chemistry came to life naturally without my direction. The poignant portrayal of the couple was born from the two actors' passionate performances," further raising expectations for Kim Hye-ja and Son Seok-koo's couple acting.

JTBC's new weekend drama "More Beautiful than Heaven" will premiere on the 19th at 10:40 PM and will air every Saturday at 10:40 PM and Sunday at 10:30 PM.
