Actor Ahn Jae-mo reveals his love story with his wife.
On the 13th, the MBN entertainment program ‘Let’s Go 4’ will air, featuring a pre-released video that reveals the behind-the-scenes of Ahn Jae-mo's dating life.
While exploring Ahn Jae-mo's home, MCs Ahn Jung-hwan and Hong Hyun-hee were surprised to find the couple's bed perfectly separated by a partition. Ahn Jae-mo explained, “This is a bed we bought when the kids were young. After we all used to sleep together, the kids grew up and moved to their own rooms, so I put up the wall in the middle.”
Hearing this, the MCs remarked, “If the partition is in the middle, you can’t see each other’s faces. If it were the other way around, you could see each other’s faces. Isn’t it unusual? Does that mean your relationship with your wife isn’t good?” and added, “If you want to sleep with your wife, do you have to cross the wall?”
Additionally, after seeing Ahn Jae-mo's wedding photos, the MCs asked how he met his wife, to which Ahn Jae-mo replied, “We met in 2009 through a single photo. A friend was looking at Cyworld and happened to see a photo of a girl and asked who she was.” He reminisced about their special first meeting, saying, “When we met, her personality was nice and she was frugal.”
After that day, Ahn Jae-mo started dating, saying, “Once, I was dropping my wife off at her house, and someone asked, ‘Who are you taking home on which floor?’ At that moment, I thought, ‘Oh, it must be my father-in-law.’ He invited me up for a cup of tea, and I ended up drinking tea with him. He said, ‘You may be a precious son at home, but my daughter is the most precious to me. If you’re not going to take responsibility until the end, stop seeing her.’” He mentioned this incident where he received a stern warning from his father-in-law before marriage.
In response, Ahn Jae-mo said, “Men have their pride. The very next day, I packed my bags and brought my wife to my house,” confessing that they started an unconventional cohabitation before marriage.
