Actor Kim Yong-gun mentioned his 4-year-old late-born son.
On the 11th, MBN and Channel S's entertainment program ‘Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2’ released a preview video titled “There’s a son like a grandson… Kim Yong-gun’s shocking statement leaves Mukbro speechless.”
On this day, Kwak Tube asked Kim Yong-gun, who was invited as a Muk friend, “Your son (Ha Jung-woo) is famous, but isn’t your daughter-in-law (Hwang Bo-ra) also famous? I heard you are close like a daughter. Do you meet often?” To this, Kim Yong-gun replied, “(Hwang Bo-ra) has a good personality,” and said, “We meet often.” Jeon Hyun-moo also praised, saying, “A daughter-in-law like Hwang Bo-ra is the best.”
Kim Yong-gun welcomed his first grandson last May. Mentioning this, he said, “I see him often. Since I have a grandson,” and added, “But the ironic thing is, I have a little one too. I have a son who is like a grandson.”
As Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube were taken aback, he said, “Are you suddenly speechless? I thought you might be curious about (my son). Meanwhile, Kim Yong-gun got married in 1977 and has two sons: the eldest, actor Ha Jung-woo, and the youngest, Kim Young-hoon. After divorcing in 1996 and living alone, Kim Yong-gun gave birth to a late-born son with his 39-year-younger girlfriend, whom he had been with for 13 years, in 2021.
