Anchor Kang Ji-young is resigning from JTBC.
On the 11th, Kang Ji-young posted a message on social media saying, "I never thought I would swim this far. Looking back, it's already been 14 years," along with a photo.

Kang Ji-young expressed her feelings about her resignation, stating, "I was happy and reassured to be able to share every moment from the launch in 2011 to the present JTBC. It has truly been a colorful time filled with different shades each year," and added, "While there is both excitement and fear in my decision to move towards a bigger sea, I intend to take another step forward bravely, just as I have until now."
Finally, she added, "I will greet you in various places and in new forms in the future," raising expectations.
Meanwhile, Kang Ji-young first gained recognition by participating in the MBC anchor audition 'Our Night - New Employees' in 2011. After joining JTBC as an anchor in 2011, she appeared on programs such as 'Political Department Meeting', 'Sseoljeon', and 'Class That Differentiates'. She also served as the sole anchor for JTBC's 'Newsroom' on weekends from 2022 to 2024.
