New graduates Go Yoon-jung, Shin Sia, Kang Yoo-seok, and Han Ye-ji begin their professional lives.
The new tvN weekend drama ‘One Day, a Wise Resident Life’ (Creators Shin Won-ho, Lee Woo-jung, Directed by Lee Min-soo, Written by Kim Song-hee, hereafter ‘Unsljeon’) will air its first episode on the 12th, featuring the first meeting of new obstetrics and gynecology residents Oh Yi-young (played by Go Yoon-jung), Pyo Nam-kyung (played by Shin Sia), Eom Jae-il (played by Kang Yoo-seok), and Kim Sa-bi (played by Han Ye-ji) with their senior residents.
Oh Yi-young, Pyo Nam-kyung, Eom Jae-il, and Kim Sa-bi have successfully passed the national exam after their internship and proudly entered the obstetrics and gynecology department at Jongno Yulje Hospital, taking their first steps as first-year residents. Everything is unfamiliar and challenging for these new graduates, from their first workplace colleagues to relationships with seniors, professors, patients, and nurses.
As interest grows in whether the residents can smoothly integrate into the obstetrics and gynecology department, the released photos capture the moment of self-introduction between Oh Yi-young, Pyo Nam-kyung, Eom Jae-il, and Kim Sa-bi as they meet their workplace seniors for the first time. From the somewhat dazed Oh Yi-young to the aloof Pyo Nam-kyung, the passionate Eom Jae-il, and the bright-eyed Kim Sa-bi, each showcases their unique personalities, raising curiosity about their social adaptation journey.
Seniors Koo Do-won (played by Jung Joon-won), Ki Eun-mi (played by Lee Do-hye), and Cha Da-hye (played by Hong Na-hyun) are sending sweet glances towards their juniors. They are expected to provide active support with warm compliments, advice, and some tough love to help the first-year residents integrate into the obstetrics and gynecology department.
As the residents have their nervous first meeting in the obstetrics and gynecology department, curiosity grows about the stories they will create together.
