The scene of Kim Young-chul's blind date was broadcasted.

On the afternoon of the 13th, SBS's entertainment program 'My Ugly Duckling' (hereinafter 'My Ugly Duckling') featured Kim Young-chul on a blind date.

On this day, comedian Kim Young-chul appeared as the first 'ugly duckling'. Oh Jung-tae, who brought Kim Young-chul, explained, "I brought him with great difficulty. There was an angel who agreed after seeing his face across the bridge," referring to Kim Young-chul's blind date partner. When asked about his ideal type, Kim Young-chul replied, "Someone intelligent, fluent in foreign languages, or someone who reads books," to which Oh Jung-tae said, "She is a lawyer. She specializes in real estate and is also a law school professor," surprising everyone.

Oh Jung-tae also added, "And her younger brother is a judge. She comes from a family of legal professionals. She is 40 years old. She hasn't registered her marriage, but she has had a wedding," which made Kim Young-chul say, "I feel more comfortable with someone who has been married before! I feel sorry for not having gone at this age," showing his excitement.

When Kim Young-chul mentioned that his last relationship was 10 years ago, Oh Jung-tae said, "You need to get married, brother. I did! You must have really lost your touch. Before I got married, I was a Casanova. She likes intelligent men. If she likes you, give her this book, and if not, don't give her this book," sharing dating tips.

On the much-anticipated blind date day, Kim Young-chul welcomed her. When the blind date partner said, "You look much better in person! I'm Lee Seung-eun," Kim Young-chul made a somewhat hasty joke, "Lee Seung-eun~ The afterlife~," which angered the panelists. Kim Young-chul then awkwardly asked, "You don't have a boyfriend, so you're on a blind date, right?" to which the blind date partner replied, "Of course," with a wry smile.

When asked if she looks at appearances, the blind date partner said, "No, I pay a lot of attention to appearances. But you are wonderful. You look much better in person! Your face is really small, and you're tall," complimenting Kim Young-chul, who responded, "You're too kind. I saw your photo, and you're very beautiful," smiling broadly.

When the blind date partner introduced herself, saying, "I haven't been on a blind date for about six months. I've been working a lot. I have my own practice, but I'm affiliated with a company, so I call myself a freelance lawyer," Kim Young-chul showed he had done his homework by asking, "Have you met a lot of clients?"

As the warm atmosphere continued, Kim Young-chul said, "Would you like to open this?" handing her a book, and the blind date partner replied, "It's comforting to know that you like things I can't understand. I'll think of you every time I read this book," smiling brightly.

Kim Young-chul shared, "I went on a blind date two and a half years ago, but the other person was an hour and a half late. We were supposed to meet at 3, but she kept delaying and ended up being an hour and a half late. I was really upset when it was time to go home," to which the blind date partner comforted him, saying, "Why are you upset about that? It's just one day out of 365," surprising Kim Young-chul.

When the blind date partner said, "Actually, I was married once," Kim Young-chul replied, "I heard from a junior. I felt more sorry. At my age, I should have been married a few times," showing understanding.

The blind date partner explained, "I get lonely easily, so I like doing things together. I enjoy reading books together. I like going to coffee shops to read," to which Kim Young-chul asked, "Shall we read books together at a coffee shop next time?" suggesting an after-date. The blind date partner nodded with a bright smile, saying, "Yes, that sounds good."

The second 'ugly duckling' was actor Choi Jin-hyuk. Meeting Kim Jong-kook, Lee Dong-gun, and Kim Hee-chul, he shared, "Recently, I've been thinking about moving out. Now that I'm an adult, it feels a bit uncomfortable living with my mom," sharing his recent concerns.

He added, "She tends to nag a lot. I'm not very organized," which made everyone laugh.

Lee Dong-gun said, "It's time for me to move. Roa has become an elementary school student. I wish she would come over to sleep sometimes. The house I'm living in now is good for living alone. I'm looking for a place with space for Roa," he said.

After chatting, while Kim Hee-chul was looking around Jin-hyuk's new house, he exclaimed, "I really like this atmosphere," and when Jin-hyuk said, "The house we just saw is 1.07 billion won. But I don't know the maintenance fee or the size. I heard the loan is all set up," Kim Jong-kook and Kim Hee-chul responded, "You should just live with your mom for life. You're foolish!" in disbelief.

Next, the members went to see Lee Dong-gun's new house. Dong-gun introduced the duplex house, saying, "The person who built this house is a carpenter. The children sketched it together. It's really a house for kids," and when he added, "This runs on solar energy. The average monthly heating and cooling cost is less than 20,000 won," Kim Jong-kook humorously showed his frugal side, saying, "I want to live here."

The third 'ugly duckling' was Jung Young-joo. He visited the hospital with his father and expressed concern, saying, "My father has been having trouble remembering things lately. He keeps asking the same questions. During meals, he tries to take his medicine after finishing his food. He also has trouble getting up at once after lying down," worrying about his father. When the doctor asked if he thought his memory was declining, Jung Young-joo's father replied, "I have to recall words, but I can't think of them." He also mentioned that he had experienced Bell's palsy about 5 or 6 years ago.

When the doctor asked, "Is there an antidepressant among the medications your father is taking?" the father revealed, "I've been taking it since 1988. It's been a long time. It's actually hard," surprising everyone.

While his father underwent memory and behavior tests, Jung Young-joo visited the internal medicine department. He shared, "While living as an actor, I always have chronic issues like disc, cervical, and shoulder pain. The new issue is that I've been taking menopause medication since I had a hysterectomy about six years ago," he revealed.

Jung Young-joo explained, "My menstrual rhythm has been disrupted, and it suddenly became excessive, so I went to the hospital, and they said I have adenomyosis. Once that was resolved, menopause symptoms appeared," sharing his recent concerns. Later, Jung Young-joo underwent tests for menopausal women.

After the tests, the doctor informed the father, "Your fasting blood sugar is 160, which is a bit high. Also, your kidney function is declining. The most noticeable decline is in your memory. You're about 5th from the bottom," raising awareness. The doctor stated, "It seems you've reached a stage that can be called the early stage of dementia. Since you have risk factors like diabetes and high blood pressure, if you don't manage it, you could develop vascular dementia," shocking Jung Young-joo.

'My Ugly Duckling' airs every Sunday at 9:05 PM on SBS.
