As the group NewJeans has announced a halt in their activities, the recent updates on Minji and Hani have caught attention.
On the 13th, a post was shared on the SNS account managed by the NewJeans members, stating, "Bunnies (fandom name), how are you doing? I'm temporarily far away. I think everyone already knows this, haha," and added, "I wanted to visit a place where no one would recognize me."
Additionally, they shared photos taken in Rome, Italy. In one photo taken in front of the Pantheon in Rome, they wrote, "If you happen to see us, come say hi."
Previously, a post in an online community sparked discussions about sightings of Minji and Hani in Rome, Italy. It is reported that the two are enjoying their trip without a manager.
Last November, NewJeans held an emergency press conference and announced that their contract with Ador was terminated due to a breach of contract. They later announced their new group name, NJZ, and began independent activities.
However, on March 21, the court ruled in favor of Ador's request for a provisional injunction to maintain the status of the agency and prohibit the signing of advertising contracts. The court determined that the NewJeans members should not engage in entertainment activities on their own or through a third party without prior approval or consent from Ador. The members submitted an objection on the same day.
NewJeans announced their halt in activities on the 23rd of last month during their performance at ComplexCon held at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong.
