Actor Lee Byung-hun made a surprise appearance on ‘You Quiz’.

On the broadcast of tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ on the 16th, Go master Cho Hun-hyun appeared as a guest.

On this day, Lee Byung-hun appeared in an interview to support Cho Hun-hyun, who was the inspiration for his movie ‘The Match’. Lee Byung-hun said, “On the day of the movie premiere, (Cho Hun-hyun) came. I was surprised because I hadn’t heard he was coming, and when I greeted him, he said, ‘I thought you were a nine-dan after watching the trailer.’ That made me very happy,” he laughed.

He continued, “Since he has been a legend from that era to now, there is a vast amount of material. Various videos and photos became good teachers for me. Cho Hun-hyun has a unique expression. There is a specific mouth shape and hand position that comes out when he is deep in thought. I carefully observed and studied his sitting posture,” he said.

He added, “(Cho Hun-hyun) jokingly said, ‘At least learn the finger position for playing Go properly.’ Since that day, I started taking lessons. I practiced repeatedly placing the stones almost in the center of the Go board without touching anything else. I focused a lot on practicing that,” he revealed.

Meanwhile, ‘You Quiz on the Block’ airs every Wednesday at 8:45 PM.
