In “Seize the Great Luck,” Sun Woo-jae-deok ultimately set aside his pride for his family.

In the third episode of KBS1's daily drama “Seize the Great Luck” (written by Son Ji-hye, directed by Park Man-young and Lee Hae-woo), Kim Dae-sik (played by Sun Woo-jae-deok) and Lee Hye-sook (played by Oh Young-sil) found themselves cornered by Han Moo-cheol's (played by Son Chang-min) sudden demand for a deposit increase.

Im Ji-a (played by Lee Ah-hyun) discovered a text message from Rose (played by Seo Young) on Moo-cheol's phone when he came home drunk. The next day, Ji-a called Rose to confirm the sender of the message, but was taken aback when the other party hurriedly hung up.

Choi Gyu-tae (played by Park Sang-myeon) and Hwang Geum-ok (played by Ahn Yeon-hong) were shocked to learn that Moo-cheol had raised the deposit and rent for Dae-sik's chicken restaurant. Dae-sik felt troubled at the thought of having to leave the Daewoon Building, which held memories of his late father.

Meanwhile, Hye-sook visited Ji-a to plead with Moo-cheol regarding the deposit. However, Ji-a, having already seen through Hye-sook's true intentions, demanded that she make kimchi. Hye-sook, who made the kimchi without gloves, returned to the chicken shop with her fingers stained bright red. Seeing Hye-sook's swollen hands, Dae-sik was shocked and felt devastated upon realizing that his wife had gone to ask Ji-a for help. Unable to hold back her tears, Hye-sook broke down, evoking sympathy from viewers.

As Moo-cheol and Dae-sik's children began to get entangled, it sparked viewers' interest. Moo-cheol's eldest son Han Tae-ha (played by Park Ji-sang) and Dae-sik's youngest daughter Kim Ah-jin (played by Kim Hyun-ji) showcased a youthful chemistry every time they met. Additionally, Dae-sik's eldest son Kim Seok-jin (played by Yeon Je-hyung), who returned home secretly after studying abroad, coincidentally ran into Moo-cheol's second child Han Seo-woo (played by Lee So-won) at the airport, raising curiosity about how their relationship would develop.

Dae-sik, who made a firm resolution, bowed his head and pleaded, “Please save me,” to Moo-cheol, who threatened to put the shop up for sale if the deposit was not increased, creating a poignant ending that touched the hearts of viewers. In particular, the realistic situations faced by Dae-sik's family, their strong familial love, and the characters' experiences of life's joys and sorrows were depicted with a fast-paced narrative.

The fourth episode of “Seize the Great Luck” will air today (17th) at 8:30 PM.
