A 3rd grade elementary school student amazed everyone by saving his mother’s life with CPR.

On the 16th, the tvN entertainment program ‘You Quiz on the Block’ featured 10-year-old Jeong Tae-woon, who saved his mother with CPR.

On that day, Tae-woon shared the urgent situation, saying, “I heard a loud ‘thud’ from the kitchen, and when I went to check, my mom was lying there with foam coming from her mouth.” At that time, Tae-woon’s mother had collapsed due to an acute myocardial infarction.

What was remarkable was Tae-woon’s calm response. He said, “I checked if my mom was breathing and called 119, and I performed CPR until they arrived. I was scared because my mom had collapsed, but I stayed calm.”

When asked by the MCs how he learned CPR, Tae-woon replied, “I learned it from the age of 6 at daycare, taekwondo classes, and school.” His consistent training was effectively utilized in the crisis situation.

Tae-woon expressed his affection, saying, “I often tell my mom, ‘Be careful, take your medicine, don’t overdo it,’” and added, “I want to tell my mom not to overdo it. Mom is a beautiful mom.”

Meanwhile, ‘You Quiz on the Block’ airs every Wednesday at 8:45 PM.
