Actor Kim Ji-hoon shared his thoughts on his appearance in 'Gwigung'.

On the 17th, the production presentation for SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Gwigung' (written by Yoon Soo-jung, directed by Yoon Sung-sik) took place at SBS Hall located in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Yoon Sung-sik, along with actors Yook Sung-jae, Kim Ji-yeon, and Kim Ji-hoon. The event was hosted by broadcaster Park Kyung-rim.

‘Gwigung’ is a fantasy romantic comedy about a shaman, Yeori (Kim Ji-yeon), who refuses the fate of a medium, and her first love, Yoon-gap (Yook Sung-jae), who is trapped in the body of the evil spirit Imugi, Gang-cheol (Yook Sung-jae), as they confront the eight-legged ghost with a grudge against the royal family, leading to a tangled battle for body and soul. It is a story of exorcism featuring various spirits from folklore, as well as a love story between the evil spirit Gang-cheol, who could not become a dragon, and the shaman Yeori.

On this day, Kim Ji-hoon expressed his thoughts on appearing in 'Gwigung', stating, "I thought it would be fun to see a typical historical drama king." He explained his reason for participating.

He emphasized, "It is not an exaggeration to say that I poured my life into this work. I can say that I have invested over 20 years of my acting life into it."

The 'fresh acting combination' of Yook Sung-jae, Kim Ji-yeon, and Kim Ji-hoon is generating high expectations. Yook Sung-jae plays Yoon-gap, the first love of Yeori, who is possessed by the evil spirit Imugi, Gang-cheol, while Kim Ji-yeon plays Yeori, who refuses the fate of a shaman and lives as a craftsman of glasses. Among them, Kim Ji-hoon takes on the role of the fictional king 'Lee Jeong', who confronts the eight-legged ghost with a grudge against the royal family.

Director Yoon Sung-sik, who has been recognized for his reliable entertainment through dramas like 'Mr. Queen', 'The Best Lee Soon-shin', 'Gaksital', and 'Dae Jo Yeong', has teamed up with writer Yoon Soo-jung, who penned 'The King's Face' and 'Boldly Go Go'.

SBS's new drama 'Gwigung' will premiere on the 18th at 9:50 PM.
