In the latest photoshoot for 'My Child's Private Life', Choo Sarang brought tears as she reminisced about her late grandfather.
In the 17th episode of the ENA variety show 'My Child's Private Life' (hereafter 'My Life'), the story unfolded about the photoshoot of the couple Sarang and Yuto, their second day in Korea, and the heartwarming yet humorous private life of 'Gyeongsangdo Baby' Doah, who stirred jealousy in her father, 'Wrestling David' Park Jung-woo.
The second day of the 'Love You' couple's trip to Korea began with Yuto waking up early to deliver breakfast for Sarang. Sarang and Yuto visited a tarot reading place, sharing their biggest life concerns. Yuto, from a family of doctors for 15 generations, expressed the hidden pressure of continuing the family business, while Sarang revealed her worries about her father Choo Sung-hoon's health. Surprised by his daughter's unexpected concerns, Choo Sung-hoon expressed his feelings, saying, "When Sarang was born, I held her for the first time. I want to embrace my last moments in my daughter's arms."
The couple's photoshoot exuded youthful excitement. Sarang showcased her 'born to be a model' aura with her mother Yano Shiho's striking proportions and poses. Yuto, initially awkward in front of the camera, continued with playful skinship, and their face-to-face poses raised the sweetness level with his bold actions. He also added warmth by taking out sleep socks he had brought from Japan for the cold Sarang.
After the photoshoot, Sarang requested a special photo session. She wanted to wear a judo uniform that held special meaning for her father and grandfather. Her judo uniform had her father's name 'Choo Sung-hoon' on the right sleeve and her grandfather's name 'Choo Gye-yi' on the left. While missing her late grandfather, Sarang tearfully said, "I love you, Grandpa. I miss you."
Choo Sung-hoon's eyes also became moist. Touched by Sarang's thoughtful gesture, he shared, "When my father passed away, I dressed him in a judo uniform and tied the belt for him. When I die, Sarang will tie it for me," revealing his desire to be with his daughter until the very end. The sight of Sarang, once a 'national baby', growing up to worry about her father's health and cherishing memories of her grandfather moved the hearts of viewers.
'Gyeongsangdo Baby' Doah became her father's dedicated assistant, conducting a Spartan training session. Park Jung-woo worked out vigorously while holding 17kg Doah, and she rewarded him with a peck on the cheek. A big match unfolded between 'Baby Champion' Doah and 'Taebaek Champion' Park Jung-woo. The studio was filled with laughter at Doah's cute expressions fueled by her competitive spirit. Doah called her father 'self' and played a sweet role-play, prompting reactions from Jang Yoon-jung, who said, "Oh my! It must be fun to raise her," and Do Kyung-wan, who remarked, "Mom will be jealous!"
Next, Doah got ready to go out, applying sunscreen and lip balm. She planned to go to the hair salon with her male friend Seung-yu. Doah gave Seung-yu her favorite doll, which her father couldn't even touch, shared chocolate, and boldly flirted, saying, "Seung-yu, I love you. Do you want to marry me when we grow up?" showcasing her 'Busan girl' charm. Park Jung-woo, witnessing his daughter's private life from the front seat, humorously asked, "Who do you like more, Seung-yu or Dad?"
Arriving at the hair salon without her father, Doah and Seung-yu requested fluffy permed hair like the character from 'OOping', but a communication error occurred with the salon owner. Doah, feeling awkward, explained her desired style in detail, showcasing her 'grandma language mastery', and even translated Seung-yu's requests during their salon date.
While getting her perm, Doah, feeling hungry, led Seung-yu to eat her 'favorite' pork soup. Doah's unusual menu choice and hearty appetite surprised everyone. She donned her 'grandma legs' and enjoyed the soup with chives, reacting with a hearty "It's warm!"
Doah even fed Seung-yu soup, which made Park Jung-woo exclaim, "She must think he's the one she will really marry to act like that," showing his flustered state. After finishing her soup, Doah proudly showcased her 'bone king' skills while holding pig's feet. Park Jung-woo was still in shock from Doah's date, and the online aunts and uncles were completely captivated by her irresistible charm.
Meanwhile, the preview released at the end of the broadcast showed Doah engaging in a patience contest with 'Stone Dog' Seong-tan over a cake, raising anticipation. ENA's Sunday variety show 'My Child's Private Life' airs every Sunday at 7:50 PM.
