Actor Choi Dae-hoon shed tears while reminiscing about his late father.
On the 21st, tvN's entertainment program 'You Quiz on the Block' released a preview titled “What are you becoming? Actor Choi Dae-hoon, who has become popular as 'Mr. Hak'! But in reality, is he really like that?!”
Choi Dae-hoon recently gained attention for his role as Mr. Hak in the Netflix series 'Bokssak Soksuda'. When Jo Se-ho asked if he felt the popularity, Choi Dae-hoon cleverly responded with the character's signature line, “I like it. I really like it.”
Yoo Jae-suk asked, “These days, people say you are called 'Mr. Hak' more than Choi Dae-hoon,” to which Choi Dae-hoon replied, “My daughter, who is now 10 years old, asks me ‘Mr. Hak, what are you becoming?’ when doing her homework,” eliciting laughter.
Choi Dae-hoon mentioned that while filming this project, he often thought of his father. He said, “I was getting my makeup done for (Mr. Busaeng) and suddenly saw my father's face. My sisters cried while watching the broadcast.” He added, “I told my father, ‘Wait for 12 years. I will buy you a car and do everything for you,’ but I couldn't do it,” and expressed his sorrow, saying, “If my father were alive now, I think he would be happy just walking on this flower path.”
'You Quiz' will air on the 23rd at 8:45 PM.
