Former short track athlete Park Seung-hee revealed that she confessed to her husband first.
In the episode aired on the 21st, SBS ‘Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny’ depicted the daily life of the newly joined couple Park Seung-hee and Eom Jun-tae.
On that day, Eom Jun-tae recalled their first meeting, saying, “We have a mutual acquaintance. That acquaintance held a gathering, and we were both there. That’s how we first greeted each other and got to know each other. We became close while participating in that gathering.”
Park Seung-hee said, “I confessed first. I was frustrated waiting because it was obvious that we liked each other. I thought, ‘Why isn’t he confessing?’ so I confessed first.”
She continued, “In ‘I Was Fooled,’ doesn’t Aesoon say to Gwan-sik, ‘What kind of guy just keeps flirting without making a move’? That line was exactly my husband. It was really frustrating, and I couldn’t stand it, so I ended up confessing first.”
She added, “We had our first meeting with the parents four months after we met. I thought, ‘Since we’re going to get married anyway, let’s do it quickly.’ I also suggested that we get married first.”
