Actress Oh Yoon-ah revealed the challenges of raising her son alone after her divorce.
On the 22nd, SBS Plus and E Channel's ‘Solo Because’ depicted Oh Yoon-ah's daily life.
On that day, Oh Yoon-ah said about her son, “He is a special son. He is my driving force in life,” adding, “He still has the heart of a young child. Since he is about 5 years old, I am raising him as if he is always a little child.”
When the production team commented, “It must not have been easy to raise him alone,” Oh Yoon-ah replied, “It was really hard. Since I am not a mom raising a typical child, I faced a lot of difficulties.”
She continued, “Until he was in the 5th grade of elementary school, we were always together. If we weren't together, he would go to where the dads and sons were playing and hang onto that dad's neck. When I heard, ‘Who are you? I’m not your dad,’ or ‘Where is your mom?’ and turned around, it was my son. Because of that, we were almost always together.”
