Broadcaster Kangnam credited his wife, Lee Sang-hwa, as the main contributor to reaching 1 million subscribers on his YouTube channel.
The MBC entertainment program 'Radio Star', airing on the 23rd at 10:30 PM, features a special episode titled 'The Standard of Modern Uncles' with guests Ko Jun, K.Will, Kim Poong, and Kangnam.
Kangnam reveals that despite concerns from those around him that reaching even 100,000 subscribers would be difficult, he achieved 1 million subscribers in about 3 years. He showcased his singing skills as a singer through YouTube and mentioned that he even signed a contract with one of Japan's top three agencies, surprising everyone by revealing the name of the video and the agency.
Meanwhile, Kangnam, who has been married to Lee Sang-hwa for three years and became a naturalized citizen of Korea, proudly shows his resident registration card, stating, "Now I am truly a citizen of the Republic of Korea." Additionally, Kangnam candidly shares about his married life with Lee Sang-hwa. He revealed that even before appearing on 'Radio Star', he received a call from Lee Sang-hwa telling him to "not say unnecessary things and to be careful with his words," which turned the studio into a sea of laughter.
Kangnam humorously admits to 'promoting Lee Sang-hwa' on YouTube, saying, "She sells the best among the family." When the MCs asked why he continues to use honorifics for his wife, he jokingly replied, "I might get scolded..." playfully highlighting his wife's strong presence.
