He added, "The 'Dragon Ball' author passed away, and since I have 'Dragon Ball' in my heart, I thought I should do something and sang. Then 'Dragon Ball' fans responded with 'Do more,' and 'You're good.' That's how I started singing Japanese songs. My subscriber count increased by 300,000 with the song videos."
He also mentioned, "I received contact from one of Japan's top three agencies. I signed a contract as a Korean singer. They didn't contact me when I had Japanese nationality, but now I have to go with a visa," which drew laughter.
Kangnam stated that while his YouTube earnings are not bad, he still manages his bank account separately from Lee Sang-hwa.
