Comedian Lee Kyung-kyu expressed his disappointment after failing to win the grand prize at the ‘2020 KBS Entertainment Awards’.
On the broadcast of KBS2 ‘Problematic Kids in the Rooftop Room’ on the 24th, Lee Kyung-kyu appeared as a guest.
On that day, Lee Kyung-kyu said, "One of the thorns in my side is Kim Sook." Joo Woo-jae chimed in, "Didn’t Kim Sook take your award?"
Lee Kyung-kyu explained, "When I was nominated for the 2020 KBS Entertainment Awards, the programs I was working on were 'Dogs Are Incredible' and 'Pyeon Restaurant'. Kim Sook was doing 5-6 programs that I didn’t even know the names of." He continued, "During the filming of 'Dogs Are Incredible', there was a dog bite incident. The moment the dog bit my butt, I thought, 'This is the grand prize,'" which drew laughter.
Lee Kyung-kyu shared, "A few months later, I went to the awards ceremony with high hopes. The KBS president even came to the waiting room to greet me. It was almost at the level of a grand prize. It was just mine," expressing his regret over missing the award.
Meanwhile, ‘Problematic Kids in the Rooftop Room’ airs every Thursday at 8:30 PM.
