Zerobase One showcased their big eater side.

On the afternoon of the 26th, the MBC entertainment program ‘The Manager's Perspective’ (hereafter ‘The Manager’s Perspective’) featured musical actor couple Son Jun-ho and Kim So-hyun along with Zerobase One.

In this episode, the first subject of the perspective was the musical actor couple Son Jun-ho and Kim So-hyun. The manager said, "We are on a regional tour, but before that, I suggested we get a health check-up together," and headed to the hospital with the two.

The three visited a hospital run by Kim So-hyun's father. Her father, who is promoting 'eating lightly', told Son Jun-ho, "It's good not to eat rice to maintain your weight, but the balance is not right," giving him a piece of advice.

After finishing the health check-up, her father advised Son Jun-ho, "I guess you haven't been eating fruits and vegetables lately? Your cholesterol is quite high. It would be good to switch to white fish..." The manager was told, "You look very fat at first glance. But if this doesn't show up, the test is wrong. Your belly fat is preventing your lungs from expanding. You have severe fatty liver. A BMI of 25 is normal, and over 30 is considered obese in American standards, but yours is 34. You eat a lot of salt," he pointed out.

He continued, "You eat salty and a lot. You eat a lot of meat, don't drink water, and it seems you don't eat fruits or vegetables. Lose some weight! Reducing fatty liver can be achieved by losing just 3.5 kg. For your health, you need to lose 16 kg," addressing the manager's health.

Later, a meal was arranged with the fathers of Son Jun-ho and Kim So-hyun. In the kitchen without fire, Kim So-hyun started cooking, and Son Jun-ho showed his frugal side by saying, "You can turn off the bottom because it doesn't serve any function."

Kim So-hyun quickly made salad, steak, gambas, and garlic bread with the ingredients she had prepared in advance. At that moment, the two fathers appeared, and small talk between the in-laws began. Even in the dark kitchen, the conversation continued, and the manager expressed, "I was wondering if it was okay to be this dark."

Kim So-hyun said, "What surprised me was that when we first moved into the house, we had to pay an expert to handle the lease registration. But he said he would do it himself. So he really did," praising Son Jun-ho. In response, Son Jun-ho's father said, "He takes after me. I used to change tires by myself too," feeling pleased.

Son Jun-ho reminisced, "Your belt holes have stretched from use. Your shoes were worn out at the front," recalling the past.

Later, when the manager asked about their first impressions of each other, Kim So-hyun's father laughed, saying, "He was refreshing, tall, and good." Son Jun-ho's father said, "I first saw my daughter-in-law through a musical, and she was cute and pretty. Watching her closely, she is very upright and diligent. When my wife and I travel with friends, we get calls saying, 'I sent some pocket money for you. Please have a meal with the people you are with.' Our daughter-in-law is number one," expressing his affection for Kim So-hyun.

The second subject of the perspective was Zerobase One. Seong Han-bin, Jang Hao, and Kim Gyu-bin, who live in the same accommodation, revealed their daily lives.

From the morning, Jang Hao took out durian and said, "When we had a pre-recording for a music show, about 200 fans came, so I personally prepared the durian for them. In the past, I told them to go outside to eat durian," introducing himself as the self-proclaimed durian ambassador.

The manager reported, "When we go for a group meal, we spend 3 million won, and when we go on a long overseas schedule, we spend 8 million won just on meals. We ordered 8 chickens, which are not just meals but snacks. They are kids who eat a lot at the top level."

The three opened their breakfast with a variety of menus including beef, pork, mango, durian, ice cream, and yogurt.

Ricky, who lives in a different accommodation, surprised the panel by still dressing up at home. Hao said, "He wants a full setup for himself," accepting it.

Later, Han-bin, Yu-jin, Hao, and Gyu-bin ordered as much meat as they wanted at a hot pot restaurant. The four ordered unusual items like pig brain, duck intestines, and frog legs, and Hao explained, "In China, they say if you feed pig brain to a baby, they become smart. I've eaten a lot since I was young."

After tasting frog legs, the members praised, "It's somewhere between chicken legs and grilled fish."

Meanwhile, Ji-woong called the members to cook for them. Ji-woong said, "I have noodles and braised hairtail, but I think it might be insufficient," and also ordered meat and pizza separately. After finishing the grand meal, Zerobase One members moved with their manager for a fan signing schedule.

Even after eating like that, the members were amazed to see the food piled up in one corner of the waiting room, and the manager showed a calm reaction, saying, "There are 9 members, and since they are rumored to be big eaters, the signing event side takes good care of us."

As the fan signing began, the members did their best to make eye contact with each fan. Han-bin shared, "The energy that fans give stays with me positively."

‘The Manager's Perspective’ airs every Saturday at 11:10 PM on MBC.
