Singer and broadcaster Kim Jong-min revealed that he gifted a tie and shoes to broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk, who hosted his wedding.
Kim Jong-min made this revelation on the SBS entertainment program "My Ugly Duckling," which aired on the 27th. On that day, Kim Jong-min met with his mentor Jeon Won-ju and comedian Kim Jun-ho to receive lessons on saving money for grooms.
Kim Jun-ho, who is about to marry comedian Kim Ji-min, asked Kim Jong-min, "I heard that if I ask for a congratulatory song, Gummy will do it, but what should I give her? What did you give to Hyung Jae-suk?"
In response, Kim Jong-min said, "I gave him a tie and shoes," drawing attention.
Then, Kim Jun-ho said, "I have Hyung Lee Sang-min hosting," to which Seo Jang-hoon reacted, "Why? There are many people living well, why?" causing laughter.
Later, Kim Jun-ho asked about Lee Sang-min's gift, "Should I give him some whiskey since he likes it?" Upon hearing this, Jeon Won-ju advised, "Give him makgeolli instead of whiskey," making the studio burst into laughter.
On the 20th, Kim Jong-min announced his engagement to his girlfriend, who is 11 years younger. Yoo Jae-suk hosted the first part of the wedding, while Jo Se-ho and Moon Se-yoon took care of the second part. The congratulatory songs were performed by Lee Jeok and Lyn, which became a hot topic.
Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min are set to marry on July 13.
"My Ugly Duckling" airs every Sunday at 8:55 PM.
