Recently, an online community revealed that Baek Jong-won is currently filming season 3 of tvN's 'Master of Business Baek Jong-won' in France, along with a photo.
In the released photo, Baek Jong-won is seen slicing meat in a kitchen. The uniform he is wearing features the 'Master of Business Baek' logo.
'Master of Business Baek' is the only variety show where Baek Jong-won cooks himself, documenting his challenge to run a Korean food business in a culinary wasteland, with season 3 set to air this year.
Baek Jong-won has recently faced several controversies. The company he represents, The Born Korea, has been hit with issues including the price controversy of the 'Baek Ham Gift Set', allegations of violating agricultural laws with 'Baekseok Doenjang', false origin labeling, violations of food hygiene laws, employee blacklist suspicions, and even a sexual harassment interview scandal involving The Born Korea employees, significantly damaging his image.
Additionally, according to the Yesan County on the 22nd, a company related to The Born Korea received administrative penalties for selling grilled meat using grills that did not undergo metal inspections at the Yesan Beer Festival held in 2023, violating food-related laws.
Baek Jong-won has issued two apologies and bowed his head in a direct apology at the regular shareholders' meeting. There are also allegations that the The Born Culinary Development Institute, operated by The Born Korea, violated the National Technical Qualifications Act.
Meanwhile, filming for season 2 of the Netflix show 'Black and White Chef: Culinary Class War', featuring Baek Jong-won, also began earlier this month. The MBC show 'Chef of Antarctica', in which Baek Jong-won appears, has been postponed.
