A tragedy comes to the peaceful life of Ham Eun-jung.
The new daily drama 'The Queen's House' (directed by Hong Seok-goo and Hong Eun-mi, written by Kim Min-joo), which premieres on the 28th, is a revenge drama about a woman who believed she had a perfect life but has it all taken away from her.
In the photos released ahead of the premiere, Kang Jae-in (played by Ham Eun-jung) is seen sending a loving gaze filled with affection to her husband, while Hwang Gi-chan (played by Park Yoon-jae) looks at his wife tenderly. Jae-in sees her husband off as he leaves for work early in the morning. Up until the moment Gi-chan gets into the car, the two exchange sweet remarks, creating a honeymoon-like excitement.
Jae-in's mother, Choi Ja-young (played by Lee Sang-sook), cannot hide her discomfort after seeing off her husband and son-in-law. She disapproves of her daughter Jae-in's one-sided affection towards Gi-chan. Ja-young has never acknowledged Gi-chan as her son-in-law from the beginning, raising curiosity about how the tangled history between the two will impact the story's development.
On the other hand, Jae-in's face, once bright, now appears distorted as if gripped by fear, hinting that something shocking has occurred. One day, while living her usual happy life, Jae-in receives a shocking phone call. Following this, Jae-in and her family are engulfed in fear, and as a result of this incident, she is confronted with an unwanted truth and unexpected trials.
Will Jae-in be able to protect the ordinary life she so desired? The identity of the person who made the call is raising expectations.
The highly anticipated first episode of 'The Queen's House' airs today (28th) at 7:50 PM.
