Actress Kang Ye-won has made her final choice of herbal doctor Gong Deok-hyun.
In the episode aired on the 28th of tvN STORY ‘Can We Love Now’, Kang Ye-won's final choice was depicted.
On this day, Kang Ye-won expressed, “I had doubts about whether Gong Deok-hyun was interested in me. The first match, Kim Sang-hoon, was friendly and often checked in like a friend, which I appreciated. On the other hand, Gong Deok-hyun didn’t contact me as casually as Kim Sang-hoon, so I wondered what he was about.”
Kang Ye-won visited the herbal clinic where Gong Deok-hyun works to confirm his sincerity. After their first meeting, the two met again and exchanged greetings before starting a serious conversation.
Kang Ye-won revealed her disappointment, saying, “I was curious why you stopped contacting me in the middle and only reached out right before we met. It seemed insincere to me.” She continued, “Since there was no contact after that, it felt like trust was diminished.” Gong Deok-hyun denied this, saying, “I didn’t just talk; I meant it.”
Kang Ye-won and Gong Deok-hyun had a dinner date while clinking their glasses. When Gong Deok-hyun asked if there was a reason he thought they should drink today, Kang Ye-won replied, “I wanted to show myself, but I was too shy, so I wanted to drink to find courage. I wanted to show my true self.”
