‘Universe League’ Cha Woong-gi stops practicing due to an injury.
In the 7th episode of the SBS global boy group audition program ‘Universe League’, which airs on the 10th at 11:20 PM, Team Beat will take on the mission for the third round of the league.
Team Beat has prepared two stages with ‘My, My, My’ and ‘ON&ON’. The first stage, ‘My, My, My’, will feature the seven main players selected as elite members. After five members were eliminated in the second round, Team Beat, which is short on members, is practicing harder than ever.
However, a crisis hits Team Beat. Cha Woong-gi is unable to participate in practice due to an injury. He joins the practice room late and surprises the Team Beat members by saying, “I just came back from the emergency room this morning.”
He then explains, “I was boiling water in a pot and accidentally spilled it on my leg.” He had suffered burns from the hot water he boiled for throat care, resulting in significant injuries to his hand and thigh.
Moreover, Cha Woong-gi mentions that the medical staff advised him not to dance for two weeks, saying, “I want to dance with my team members, but it hurts too much even when I’m standing.”
In response, Geum Jin-ho reassures him, “Since they said two weeks, let’s focus on recovery and shorten the period.” Attention is drawn to whether Cha Woong-gi can perform on stage normally while injured.
Meanwhile, ‘Universe League’ is a program co-produced by SBS and F&F Entertainment. It is the second season of ‘Universe Ticket’, which produced the global girl group UNIS. Episode 7 of ‘Universe League’ will air on the 10th at 11:20 PM.
