Melon's rookie artist development project 'Hi-RiSiNG' has selected JYP Entertainment's seven-member rookie boy group KickFlip as its first protagonist for 2025.

Kakao Entertainment's music platform Melon announced that it plans to publish exclusive magazine content twice, at 12 PM on the 10th and at 6 PM on the debut day, the 20th, along with various events leading up to KickFlip's debut.

Through Melon Hi-RiSiNG, KickFlip will receive systematic fan marketing support for a successful debut as a rookie artist. Additionally, they will present various content and events to create a special debut moment with their fans.

In the first episode of the exclusive magazine, they will reveal 'My Profile,' where members write their MBTI and what they want to do with fans in their own handwriting, along with on-site sketches. Additionally, a relay-style self-introduction video of the members will be presented to make the first meeting with fans even more special.

Along with this, a special event will be held to invite 20 users (one ticket per person) who complete fan registration by the debut date to the one-time-only debut showcase.

In the second episode, members will reveal a video introducing their debut song, expressed through their own drawings. Furthermore, a special event will be organized to select some participants from the debut song streaming for a chance to have a video call with the members.

Melon Hi-RiSiNG is a project that specializes in nurturing rookie artists representing K-pop through Melon's overwhelming influence as a music platform with a significant number of paid members. Last year, it successfully supported the debut of TWS, ILLIT, and MEOVV.
