Singer and actress Son Dam-bi has finally completed her preparations to become a 'mother' just one day before giving birth.
On the 9th, Son Dam-bi shared her childbirth preparations on her YouTube channel, saying, “It’s one week before the delivery. The day to finally meet my baby is approaching.”
The due date is April 11. Son Dam-bi added, “I finished my last check-up today, and I was told that the baby is growing healthily based on the fetal movement test results,” and “I will have a cesarean section due to placenta previa, but my doctor assured me that everything will go well.”
Son Dam-bi expressed her nervousness about childbirth with her characteristic honesty. “I’m really scared and nervous. It’s been a week full of various emotions. I’ll be away from home for quite a while, spending 5 days in the hospital and 2 weeks in the postpartum care center, so there’s a lot to prepare,” she said.
In the actual video, Son Dam-bi was seen seriously preparing as she opened her delivery bag, making sure to pack everything from newborn clothes to stretch mark cream, compression stockings, wrist guards, and a belly band.
She continued, “For the time being, the frequency of my YouTube uploads will be adjusted to about 1-2 weeks,” and added with a smile, “Once my body recovers, please look forward to my diet content. My body is precious too, just like the baby.”
Finally, Son Dam-bi expressed her gratitude to fans who sent supportive messages, saying, “I’m nervous, but I’ll do well. I’ll come back with a healthy appearance along with my baby.”
Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi married former national speed skating representative Lee Kyu-hyuk in May 2022, and she is now expecting her first child.
