Choi Hye-sun’s Q&A Interview on ‘Blood Game 3’

Q. What are your thoughts on the conclusion of ‘Blood Game 3’?

It was a memory I will never forget to compete with such formidable players in an incredible setting. Thank you so much to everyone who watched with immersion and enjoyment!

Q. Is there a memorable episode?

The episode where we, as the debris team, went to raid Paradise is the most memorable. After going through a lot of hardship, we were all fired up, and I think that was the moment we really came together as a team, so I won’t forget it.

Q. What is your personal method for not complaining or getting annoyed even in extreme situations?

My body was tired, but I genuinely enjoyed every moment I spent in the Blood Game. Each of these experiences, which I might never have again, is so precious that there was no room for annoyance!

Q. Despite spending the night in the wild as a player, many people commented on how beautiful you looked, even without washing up. What’s your secret?

Honestly, I didn’t expect it at all. I’m really grateful that you saw my scruffy appearance as cute. I think it might be because I was always in a good mood, and that feeling was conveyed. Since there were no mirrors, asking people around me, like Hyun-seo oppa, about my condition helped too.

Q. In episode 8, you were pointed out as a spy and were suspected by your own team, leading to tears. How did you feel at that moment?

I understood that it was a situation that could raise suspicion, so I was mentally prepared for it. However, I had a vague hope that they could have trusted me a bit more, which made me feel conflicted and upset. I wasn’t particularly disappointed in our team for not believing me, but I felt a lot of resentment towards the opposing team members who worked hard to dismantle our team afterward. I was really hurt thinking, “Why are they torturing me unnecessarily?”

Q. This is your second appearance on a variety show after ‘Solo Hell 3’. Did you feel any pressure?

Honestly, I felt a lot of pressure. Since I was received so well on ‘Solo Hell’, I worried a lot about whether I would disappoint people or cause any trouble for others. However, since I’ve always loved this program, I really wanted to seize this opportunity.

Q. Do you have any broadcasting plans after ‘Blood Game 3’?

If I get the chance to participate in a wonderful program that I think I might never experience again, I would like to challenge myself as long as the conditions allow.

Q. If ‘Blood Game 4’ is produced, would you be willing to participate again?

I don’t have any major regrets from ‘Blood Game 3’, but I realized the big difference between watching as a viewer and participating directly, and my understanding of survival programs has increased a lot. I think I could do better this time. I believe I could prepare more thoroughly and perform better.
