Comedian Kim Ji-sun, a mother of multiple children, proudly talks about her son who has become a rapper.
The episode of Channel A's 'Close Friends Documentary – Four-Person Dining Table' airing on the afternoon of the 13th will feature Kim Ji-sun. Inviting her close friends, comedians Jo Hye-ryeon and Kim Hyo-jin, along with her junior comedian Byun Ki-soo, Kim Ji-sun shares the struggles of going through four adolescence phases as a mother of four children.
Among them, she reveals a story about her second son, who had a particularly difficult adolescence, and shares her parenting philosophy. Kim Ji-sun recalls, “One day, my second son wrote on the wall that he wanted to die. He said he wouldn’t go to school and caused a lot of trouble for us,” reflecting on the tough times she faced back then.
She continues, “At that time, my husband handled the situation well. He listened to our son and comforted him. As parents, we can only trust and wait,” recalling the moment she was touched by her husband’s wise parenting approach.
She also shares the recent news that her second son, who once worried his parents, has now transformed into a respectable rapper named ‘SIVAA’.
Kim Ji-sun adds, “The music video has 8 million views. I gave him the first earnings from his music as a gift. Seeing this, my eldest son also gave him some pocket money, perhaps not wanting to lose out,” continuing to boast about her son.
Jo Hye-ryeon also shares a touching story about her son, continuing the empathetic conversation. She says, “My son went through a tough adolescence until he was 18. Then, when he went to university, he asked me to give a lecture at a club meeting one day. During the lecture, my son, who was sitting in the audience, looked at me with admiration and said, ‘Mom, you were so cool,’” recalling the emotional moment with teary eyes.
Kim Hyo-jin reveals the story of giving birth to her late child at the age of 44. “It was an unplanned natural pregnancy. They said the chances were 1-2%. When I gave birth to my second child, I had a large uterine fibroid that was blocking the birth canal. It led to an emergency situation, and I had to undergo a cesarean section to deliver the baby, during which the fibroid was also removed. My daughter was born and did her filial duty,” sharing her eventful birth story.
