Actor Lee Chae-min will join 'The Tyrant's Chef' in place of Park Sung-hoon.

On the 13th, Lee Chae-min's agency Golden Medalist announced, "Lee Chae-min is positively considering the offer to appear in 'The Tyrant's Chef'."

The new tvN drama 'The Tyrant's Chef' tells the story of a chef who, at the moment he reaches the pinnacle of success, time slips back to the past, where he is regarded as the worst tyrant but also meets the king, who is the greatest gourmet.

Directed by Jang Tae-yoo, who received much love for 'Flowers Bloom at Night' and 'My Love from the Star', the drama stars Lim Yoon-a as the female lead. Lee Chae-min will play the role of the king, who oscillates between being a tyrant and a gourmet.

Previously, Park Sung-hoon, who appeared in Netflix's 'Squid Game' Season 2, stirred controversy after posting a parody photo of the series from a Japanese adult film on social media on the 30th of last month, which he quickly deleted.

Park Sung-hoon's side provided two explanations, stating it was a mistake in handling social media, but the controversy spread. He later tearfully apologized during a media interview for 'Squid Game 2', but ultimately decided to exit the project.
