Former MBC announcer Son Jung-eun shares her inner thoughts on 'Ask Anything'.
In the 299th episode of KBS JOY's 'Ask Anything', which airs on the evening of the 13th, broadcaster Son Jung-eun, who transitioned from a public announcer at MBC to a freelancer, will appear as a guest.
As soon as Son Jung-eun appears, Seo Jang-hoon recognizes her immediately, saying, "I saw you on TV news," and Son Jung-eun expresses her concerns, stating, "I have been mostly active as a news anchor for 15 years, and I want to break free from the rigid and cold image that has been ingrained in the public."
She confesses, "In reality, I am a bright and positive person with a clumsy side, and I was ranked first as the person whose on-screen persona is the most different from their real self in the announcer's department," adding, "Even though it was hard, I had to pretend to be bright every day because of the broadcasting I had to do. That was difficult."
Now in her third year of being a freelancer, she has spent time alone without joining an agency, stating, "There was a significant turning point in my life. Now I can forget everything and dive into anything."
What exactly happened to Son Jung-eun? Her story will be revealed in this broadcast.
