It is a music competition where top singers from Korea and Japan compete for their country's honor.

In particular, major Japanese media outlets such as Yahoo Japan and Nikkei have been focusing on articles about ‘Korea-Japan King of Song Contest JAPAN ROUND’ even before its start, proving the interest within Japan. Japanese media acknowledges the strong influence of ‘Korea-Japan King of Song Contest’ and ‘Korea-Japan Top Ten Show’ in the cultural sectors of both countries and is concentrating on the impact of ‘Korea-Japan King of Song Contest JAPAN ROUND’.
