Actor Shim Hyung-tak and his wife Saya Hirai have welcomed a son.
On the 15th, Shim Hyung-tak announced the birth on his Instagram with the message, “Hello Haru. Thank you for coming to us, Mom and Dad. Now, Mom and Dad will protect you. We love you.” He also shared a photo of his newborn son’s tiny hands and feet.
Saya also posted the same photo, expressing her joy with the words, “We finally met. He is so lovely that words cannot express it. His name is Haru. Thank you so much for being born, Haru.”
Shim Hyung-tak met Saya, who was an employee at a local toy company, while visiting Japan for a shoot, and they fell in love. After four years of dating, they tied the knot in August 2023. They shared their wedding journey on TV Chosun’s ‘Lovers of Joseon’ and showcased their newlywed life on Channel A’s ‘Modern Man Life - Groom Class.’ Their childbirth and parenting experiences can also be followed through ‘Groom Class.’
