Cool Kim Seong-soo revealed that his daughter, whom he raised alone after his wife's death, is about to become a college student.
In a YouTube video released on the 14th, Kim Seong-soo said, "My lifelong wish was to send my daughter to a good university and raise her well," adding, "The hardest part was trying to balance two pillars when one was missing."
He reflected, "There was a lot of chaos. There needs to be someone to scold and someone to support, but since I was doing it all alone, there was confusion like, 'Isn't he a kind dad, yet he's scolding me again?' It was difficult to help her understand that."
He shared that his daughter is now about to become a college student. Kim Seong-soo announced that his daughter has been accepted to both Kyonggi University and Dankook University’s Fine Arts program, achieving the title of 'two-time college admission winner,' saying, "I felt like I was flying when I heard the news of her acceptance."
Kim Seong-soo married in 2004 and had one daughter, but they divorced in 2010. Tragically, his ex-wife was stabbed to death in October 2012 after an altercation with a customer at a bar in Gangnam. Following this, Kim Seong-soo held a ritual to soothe his ex-wife's spirit.
