Actress Goo Hye-sun has responded to netizens' criticism regarding her attitude after appearing on ‘Radio Star’, stating, “It’s my freedom.”

On the 16th, Goo Hye-sun posted on her social media, “I’m sharing the results of an IQ test (paid) I took for fun. The invention I showcased on MBC’s ‘Radio Star’ yesterday is already patented, so it’s okay to be exposed. Thank you for your concern.”

Previously, on the 15th, Goo Hye-sun appeared on the MBC entertainment program ‘Radio Star’ and revealed her invention, a flat hair roller. The accompanying photos included her IQ test results, indicating a score of 167 based on Mensa standards, placing her in the top 0.26%, along with the patent certificate for her invention.

Goo Hye-sun also stated, “Wearing a fur hat on a variety show, which is not a place that requires formality, is not a sign of bad attitude or rudeness; it’s my freedom. However, I am very grateful for such feedback,” adding that this part has since been deleted.

Goo Hye-sun appeared on ‘Radio Star’ wearing a white fur hat. She explained, “I have very acne-prone skin. If I don’t have oil blotting paper, my makeup comes off completely. I use more than ten sheets a day,” and mentioned that she brought oil blotting paper for the appearance. In response, Kim Gu-ra advised, “If you have a lot of oil, wouldn’t it be better to slick your hair back?” Goo Hye-sun replied, “The boiler broke down today. I couldn’t wash my hair, so I wore a hat. The PD suggested it would be better to take off the hat for filming, but right now, I can’t take it off.”

As the broadcast aired, some viewers raised concerns about her attitude. Some netizens reacted with comments like, “Doesn’t the broadcasting station have a shower? That’s a ridiculous excuse,” “Can’t you just go to a hair salon?” “Isn’t the boiler excuse a fabrication?” “Can’t you wash your hair at a beauty salon?” “This is a basic etiquette issue,” and “Even though the PD told her to take it off, insisting on wearing it is an attitude problem.”
