Actress Jang Shin-young celebrated her 40th birthday.
On the 17th, Jang Shin-young posted several photos on her Instagram. This is her first post in about six months since she announced her decision to forgive her husband, Kang Kyung-jun, last August.
In the released photos, Jang Shin-young caught attention by showcasing her beauty while holding a bouquet of flowers.
She also shared a birthday card that seemed to be from her second son. The second son congratulated her, saying, "Happy birthday, Mom. I love you."
Jang Shin-young and Kang Kyung-jun got married in 2018. They have a first son from Jang Shin-young's previous marriage and a second son born in 2019.
Jang Shin-young's husband, Kang Kyung-jun, was identified as an adulterer in December 2023 and was sued for 50 million won in damages. This revelation shocked many, as they had previously shown a harmonious family image through various entertainment programs. In the first hearing of the alimony lawsuit in July of the following year, Kang Kyung-jun's legal representative accepted the opposing party's claims, leading to the conclusion of the lawsuit.
Afterward, Jang Shin-young stated, "I had many conversations with my husband. I have blamed myself countless times and reflected on my actions. I went through a painful time that was hard to put into words, but we are trying to live together again as a family solely for the sake of our children," revealing that she had forgiven Kang Kyung-jun.
