Actor Kim Min-hee (42), who has been living with director Hong Sang-soo (64) for nine years, is reported to be expecting a child this spring, and their affectionate nicknames have been revealed.

According to the media, a witness mentioned that they often saw the couple shopping at a mart, saying, “Kim Min-hee called Hong Sang-soo, saying, ‘Honey, how about this?’ It felt like they were mixing casual and formal speech comfortably.” The witness added that the couple seemed to be aware of their surroundings, walking slightly apart and being cautious with physical contact like linking arms.
Previously, news of Kim Min-hee's pregnancy attracted attention. According to Dispatch on the 17th, Kim Min-hee naturally conceived director Hong's child last summer, with the expected delivery date reported for this spring.
Director Hong Sang-soo and Kim Min-hee became involved through the film 'Right Now, Wrong Then' (2015) and developed a romantic relationship, overcoming a 22-year age difference. The couple officially acknowledged their affair in 2017 when they attended the premiere of the film 'On the Beach at Night Alone' together, stating they were “in love.”
Director Hong Sang-soo, who married in 1985 and has a daughter, is still legally married to his ex-wife. He filed for divorce against his wife in November 2016, but the Seoul Family Court dismissed the case in 2019.
