Actress Shin Aera shared her thoughts and viewing points ahead of the first broadcast of ‘Therapy House - Arawon’ (hereinafter ‘Arawon’).
Channel A's New Year special pilot ‘Arawon’ is the first domestic health therapy reality program designed for modern people exhausted by accelerated aging.
MC Shin Aera, along with Lee Hyun-yi, Hong Hyun-hee, and Shin Gi-ru, will live together in one house and practice new anti-aging tips every week.
Shin Aera, who first proposed the program to the production team, revealed, “Unlike before, I have personally felt warning signs regarding my health, and I thought I needed to change my lifestyle.”
She continued, “I thought it would be great to have a space where we could listen to health lectures together and practice, as it could be a precious time for people to reflect on their health, even if they cannot physically go to that space.”
Shin Aera stated, “I have always been very interested in health, and I have watched over 1000 related lecture videos,” proving her status as a representative icon of anti-aging. She mentioned a unique viewing point of ‘Arawon’, saying, “There will be different applications compared to just listening to health lectures,” and added, “I hope ‘Arawon’ serves as an opportunity for everyone to find their own healthy lifestyle and make their body and mind healthy.”
When asked about her feelings after the first shoot, Shin Aera said, “After the first shoot, we created a group chat among the cast, and even after returning to our own homes, we naturally share our eating plans with each other,” showcasing her strong friendship and chemistry with fellow cast members Lee Hyun-yi, Hong Hyun-hee, and Shin Gi-ru. She particularly mentioned the changes in Shin Gi-ru, saying, “I was surprised to see such a change in mindset in just a day and a night,” and added, “I felt proud and happy to see the changes in my beloved younger siblings.”
Professor Jeong Hee-won, who is leading the anti-aging trend, will also make a special appearance. Shin Aera expressed, “It was meaningful to be able to see and hear Professor Jeong Hee-won’s lectures that I usually enjoy watching,” raising curiosity about the customized therapy shared between Professor Jeong and the ‘Arawon’ crew.
‘Arawon’ will premiere on Tuesday, the 28th, at 10 PM on Channel A.
