‘Special Sseoljeon’ returns with its second debate. Conservative icon lawyer Jeon Won-taek and former judge and Democratic Party member Park Beom-gye engage in a heated discussion on a topic that has ignited the week.

In the JTBC broadcast of ‘Special Sseoljeon’ on the 22nd, amid the unprecedented situation of a sitting president being imprisoned, Jeon Won-taek and Park Beom-gye continue their sharp exchanges over the truth and falsehood of the ‘legitimacy of the 12·3 martial law’.

Member of Parliament Park Beom-gye analyzes that President Yoon Suk-yeol has two contradictory selves, stating, “He is Yoon Suk-yeol during the day, and An (no) Suk-yeol at night,” raising curiosity. Following discussions on ‘presidential imprisonment’ and ‘court intrusion incidents’, it is reported that the recording was ultimately suspended due to the intense debate.

In the second part of ‘Special Sseoljeon’, ‘The Night of the Ruling and Opposition Parties’, Democratic Party member Kim Yong-min, People Power Party members Joo Jin-woo and Kim Jae-seop, and Park Eun-jeong from the Justice Party gather to engage in sharp legal interpretations of the current issues.

In particular, the People Power Party has filed complaints against Democratic Party member Kim Yong-min, while the Democratic Party has done the same against Joo Jin-woo, creating a tense atmosphere as the two meet at the same table during the debate.

Former prosecutors Park Eun-jeong and Joo Jin-woo, who were two years apart in their training, also meet during the debate. Park Eun-jeong, who once taught Joo Jin-woo how to write an indictment, expressed that she never expected to meet him in the National Assembly, raising anticipation for their encounter.

Additionally, ‘Dobong-gu Line’ members Kim Yong-min and Kim Jae-seop gather in one place for a heated discussion. On that day, the members share their thoughts on facing the impeachment situation as first-term and second-term lawmakers, with Kim Jae-seop expressing that the impeachment situation feels like one of the ‘seven major challenges in the world’.

Furthermore, the four lawmakers engage in uncompromising debates and psychological warfare over issues such as the ‘Special Prosecutor Act’, ‘President Yoon’s Imprisonment’, ‘Representative Lee Jae-myung’s Trial’, and ‘First Lady Kim Geon-hee’s Special Prosecutor Act’.
