Singer Im Young-woong's fandom has donated over 17 million won to support the families affected by the Jeju Air passenger plane accident.
On the 23rd, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced that the YouTuber Music Tong, along with the fandom of singer Im Young-woong, 'Hero Era', has donated over 17 million won to support the families of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident.
This donation was raised through a fundraising broadcast conducted by YouTuber Music Tong, who is known as a fan of Im Young-woong, with fans voluntarily participating. The Jeju Air passenger plane accident occurred on December 29 of last year during landing at Muan International Airport, resulting in the loss of 179 lives. The donation will be delivered to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones in an instant as a form of consolation.
YouTuber Music Tong stated, “I conducted the fundraising to convey a little comfort to the bereaved families, inspired by the singer's kind heart,” and added, “I sincerely thank the Hero Era fans for joining in this warm sharing.”
Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, expressed gratitude, saying, “I deeply appreciate the fans who have come together with good intentions,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that the support and comfort from the Hero Era are well delivered to the bereaved families.”
