Actor Kim Soo-hyun has firmly denied the dating rumors with Kim Ji-won, with whom he starred in 'Queen of Tears.'
On the 24th, messages exchanged between Kim Soo-hyun and fans on the fan communication platform Bubble were revealed through an online community.
One subscriber sent a message saying, "Please marry Ji-won quickly and do a love story (Love + Instagram). Show more affection in public than now."
In response, Kim Soo-hyun said, "I hope you see the drama as just a drama from now on."
Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won played the roles of Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in, respectively, in the tvN drama 'Queen of Tears,' which ended in late April last year with a phenomenal popularity, garnering great acclaim for their on-screen couple chemistry. 'Queen of Tears' broke the record for the highest viewership rating in tvN drama history, surpassing 'Crash Landing on You.'
Subsequently, the two were embroiled in dating rumors on July 1 of last year. On that day, Kim Soo-hyun posted four photos on his personal channel but quickly deleted three of them. The photos were selfies taken during his Asia tour fan meeting. Some netizens reacted by saying that the pose of Kim Soo-hyun in the swiftly deleted photos resembled the atmosphere of a recent photo posted by Kim Ji-won on social media, calling it a 'couple photo.'
At that time, both Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won's agencies did not provide any official statements regarding the dating rumors, fueling speculation.
