Sera (38), a former member of the group Nine Muses, is getting married to a non-celebrity.
On the 31st, Sera announced her marriage on her SNS, stating, "After a long period of contemplation, I decided to publicly share this news."
Sera explained, "Since my fiancé is a non-celebrity, I was cautious that the attention might feel burdensome, which extended my period of contemplation. I decided to get married at the moment when I felt a growing desire to become 'a more mature person' than I am now, rather than thinking that marriage had nothing to do with me."
She continued, "I expect that there will be more people who feel relieved than surprised. I am grateful to those who have become a driving force in my life, despite my insecurities and shortcomings."
She added, "This year, I am planning new endeavors along with my marriage. If you could listen to and watch my attempts and efforts for the healthy development of popular culture, I would want nothing more. I will live truthfully and boldly."
Meanwhile, Sera debuted with Nine Muses in 2010 and left the group in 2014. She is currently active as a singer-songwriter after establishing her own one-person agency.
