Hanbok designer Kim Ri-eul (real name Kim Jong-won) has passed away at the age of 32.

Kim Ri-eul, the representative of the Hanbok suit brand Ri-eul, suddenly left this world on the 11th. The funeral is set to be held at the Jeonbuk Namwon Medical Center funeral home, room 3, with the burial scheduled for 9 AM on the 13th.

According to a report by News1 on the 12th, a report was received by the Namwon Police Station at around 9:10 PM on the 11th, stating that someone had fallen from an apartment flower bed in the Doton-dong area of Namwon. When the police arrived at the scene, it was confirmed that Kim was already deceased.

Investigations revealed that Kim had visited his family home in Namwon on the day of the incident. It is reported that after finishing a call with an acquaintance, he made this choice in his room.

In relation to this, a police official stated, “There seems to be no evidence of criminal activity,” and added, “We are investigating the exact circumstances.”

Kim gained recognition both domestically and internationally for creating the Hanbok suit worn by BTS during their appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' in 2020. Last year, he was also selected as one of Forbes' '30 Under 30 Asia' influential figures.
