SHINee's Key expressed his longing for the late Jonghyun.

On the 12th, in the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' (hereafter 'You Quiz'), SHINee's Key appeared alongside his mother, Kim Sun-hee, who retired after 37 years as a nurse, to share their stories.

On that day, Key recalled Jonghyun, saying, "I was really shaken at that time. What is life? I even thought about whether I should quit everything." He conveyed the shock he felt back then. He continued, "I lived in a state of collapse, but the concert we held at Tokyo Dome was like, 'Let's all get through this together.' I thought it would be too hard if there wasn't a place for us to honor him. We wanted to send him off that way, celebrating his brief but brilliant youth."

He added, "When his birthday or the anniversary of his passing comes, I really miss him and feel nostalgic. When new songs come out that we can't record together, I often think, 'He would have done well on this.' While practicing, he has appeared in my dreams a lot. It's not like he says anything, but during concert meetings, he just sits there. He is always with us. (SHINee) is always five members," expressing his deep longing and adding to the emotional weight of the moment.
