Actress Kim Min-hee, who is pregnant, has departed for Germany with Director Hong Sang-soo to attend the 75th Berlin International Film Festival.
On the 19th, Buddhist Broadcasting System (BBS) reported that the two were spotted going through departure procedures for their flight to Munich at Incheon International Airport.
Kim Min-hee drew attention with her noticeably protruding belly peeking out from under a long coat, and she was seen covering her face with sunglasses and a mask.
Director Hong Sang-soo has been invited to this film festival for six consecutive years. His new film, 'What Does the Nature Say to You', will be screened in the competition section starting on the 20th (local time). There is also keen interest in whether the two will appear together at the event, as they did not show up on the red carpet at the opening ceremony held on the 13th (local time).
'What Does the Nature Say to You' tells the story of a thirty-something poet named Dong-hwa who accidentally visits his lover Jun-hee's home. Ha Sung-guk, Kwon Hae-hyo, and Jo Yoon-hee, who have appeared in many of Director Hong's previous works, are involved. Kim Min-hee is participating as the production manager for this film. It is reported that Kim Min-hee is expected to give birth this spring.
