Actress Lee Eun-joo has passed away 20 years ago.
Lee Eun-joo tragically ended her life at the young age of 25 on February 22, 2005.
Born in 1980, Lee Eun-joo made her debut in the KBS2 drama 'Start' in 1997. She later appeared in the SBS drama 'KAIST' (1999-2000), MBC drama 'Firebird' (2004), and films such as 'Oh! Sujeong' (2000), 'Bungee Jumping of Their Own' (2001), 'Love Story' (2002), 'Sky Garden' (2003), and 'Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War' (2004).
The late actress's former agency, Namoo Actors, represented by Kim Dong-sik, expressed condolences on social media during the 18th anniversary in 2023, saying, "Yesterday, my mother sent me a photo of Eun-joo. We are growing older like this, but we will only remember the sparkling, young, and beautiful image of Lee Eun-joo, right? There are many more days when I forget, but every February, I think of her dearly. I miss you, beautiful actress Lee Eun-joo."
The remains of the deceased are interred at Cheong-Ah Park in Ilsan, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province.
