Kim Sung-kyu, a former member of the group Infinite, has lost his sister.
His agency, Billions, announced on the 22nd, "We are heartbroken to share this very sad news," and stated, "Kim Sung-kyu's biological sister passed away this morning while battling illness."
Billions added, "According to the wishes of the bereaved family, the funeral will be held quietly and privately with only family and close friends present," and requested, "We ask for your comfort and consideration so that Kim Sung-kyu and his family can spend time in mourning together. We express our deep condolences for the deceased's journey and sincerely wish for the repose of their soul."
Infinite is set to release their eighth mini album on March 6 at 6 PM through various music streaming sites, marking their 15th anniversary since debut.
